The Atelier de Donat owes its name to the former owner of the house, a craftsman who, amongst others things, made boats, some of which he made available to the passers-by on his small jetty. The beach that runs along the house has, for a while now, held his name. In Malbuisson, the name Donat is well known and it is in the spirit that we took over his former workshop.
The workshop has undergone a grand renovation, undertaken with respect of the history of the workshop and the inheritance of Donat. Thus, references to the profession of woodworking and nature are omnipresent. Stone frontals, vegetal wall decorations, various tools, imposing beams, recycled workbenches...: so many references to the former master of the workshop.

Formed at Ducasse and owner of the premice, chef Raphaelle VERNIER offers seasonal cuisine inspired by the bistronomy, generous dishes-giving pride of place to the quality and freshness of the product. This "trendy" menu combines regional inspired dishes : when in season, lake fish such as perch and fera are found on our menu as well as others dishes of Franche-Comté inspiration.
